When unspeakable tragedies happen, like the recent shooting in Charleston, what should be our response? Instead of rushing to political agendas, let us first weep with those who weep. We also see that offering forgiveness doesn't lessen the pain or the magnitude of the sin. It does, however, reveal things more powerful, more eternal, and more transcendent: God's mercy, grace, and love.
