Jon and Rod discuss the upcoming impeachment of Donald Trump, big tech's attempt at shutting down any voices that disagree with them, socialism, and the attempt to lump Libertarians in with domestic terrorist groups.

Jon and Rod take a look at recent events that have occurred in the country and offer up their own unique perspective. 2021…buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Welcome back to "Weighty Conversations!" In Episode 11, Jon and Rod interview Jose Robles, who is not a communist, but is a self proclaimed Democratic Socialist. We asked Jose to come on the podcast in order to better understand exactly what the Democratic Socialist movement is all about, what they want to accomplish, and how, if they get their way, will it directly impact America. We ran out of time but not questions, so Jose will be back soon for a part 2 of the the conversation.

Jon and Rod entered into a very spirited conversation about how they both interpreted the debate.  They both saw and heard different things coming from the candidates and they were not shy in expressing their opinions. Tune in and see who you agree with.

Jon and Rod started off the episode with every intention of talking about Nancy Pelosi and the 25th Amendment, but they very quickly started talking about a whole host of other national related events. They did talk about Nancy and the 25th Amendment, but they also gave their opinions on a lot of other things as well, including Rod's ongoing bathroom renovation.

Rod and Jon willingly and painfully sacrificed their time to listen to the first and possibly only presidential debate of this election cycle. They then immediately sat down and shared their perceptions and thoughts about what they had just witnessed. 

In this exciting episode of "Weighty Conversations," Rod demonstrates that he has a bad attitude towards professional sports and that we as a country desperately need to institute mandatory term limits on our representatives and senators. Meanwhile, Jon brings us up-to-date on several of the international stories he has been following, and he talks about the resignation of the Prime Minister of Japan.

This is a bit of a different episode for us. After we completed episode five, Jon and I continued to talk, and we delved pretty deeply into some of our deeply held beliefs on a number of different issues. We decided this was cultural in nature, and we wanted you to hear it. Enjoy!

On this episode of "Weighty Conversations," Jon and Rod discuss the recent Democratic and Republican National Conventions. They then turn their attention to recent events in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and discuss how the media reports events in a way the suits the narrative they are trying to create.

In this episode, Rod uses his allocated time to focus on eight different times the press has lied to the American people, using documented evidence to support his claims. Jon, during his allocated time, chose to focus on the former King of Spain, Juan Carlos, who for 40 years was a very popular monarch. But, after deciding to step down so his son could become king, lots of scandalous information has emerged, and, as a result, Juan Carlos has gone into hiding.
