On this episode I discuss the Captain Marvel Box Office numbers and how being heavily loaded on opening weekend guaranteed a successful showing, but potentially has led to a massive week two drop off. I also talk about the Alita: Battle Angel Box Office and take various other questions from viewers of the original stream! *Welcome to Asgard! In this episode I talk about the recent early reviews for Solo: A Star Wars Story and what they mean for the future success or failure of the film and the franchise as well. I also discuss the various criticisms that have been levied against fans who do not like the direction of the current franchise under the leadership of Kathleen Kennedy. Huge shout out to the Geeks and Gamers Channel (especially Jeremy) for inspiring me to begin to venture into the world of Youtube! In this episode I talk about my thoughts on the new YouTube Red Original Series Cobra Kai. Taking place roughly 30 years after the original film The Karate Kid, the story picks up with Daniel-son and Johnny as they move through their lives as adults. Have you seen this series? In this episode I start off with a non-spoiler review of the newest film in the MCU, Avengers Infinity War. I also delve into some spoilers and questions left by the film, but don't worry I provide a warning before I do so. Have you seen Infinity War? What are your thoughts? Does this change your MCU film ranking? (I still need to see it a second time before I can know for sure). Leave me your comments (spoiler free for those who haven't seen it) so that we can have a discussion! So much to talk about over this next year. On this week's episode I review the new film Rampage and compare it to Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One (after a 2nd viewing). Which film is better? Does more money equal better effects? Are there any good films coming out this week? All of this and more...here we go *(correction: Chris Stuckmann gave the film a C- and did not collaborate with TheFlickPick on this one...instead they teamed up for Truth or Dare which is a video I recommend you check out!) Movie Grades: Rampage = C+ (tons of fun...great popcorn flick!) Ready Player One = C- (don't waste your time or money...just buy the book) Budgets: Ready Player One = $175 million plus at least $150 million in marketing versus Rampage = $120 million plus $140 million in marketing...sometimes less really is more (source: wikipedia) Follow me at: Stitcher Google Play iTunes http://odinsmovieblog.blogspot.com https://www.facebook.com/OdinsMovieBlog Twitter: @OdinsMovieBlog http://podofgumbeaux.blogspot.com Music: http://www.purple-planet.com

In this episode I break down my reviews for A Quiet Place, Chappaquiddick, A Wrinkle in Time, and the amazing new film from Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero called Best F(r)iends.
