SZN 1 EP 1 | Welcome to Beauty and the Bible

Hey Hey! Welcome to the FIRST episode of Beauty and the Bible! My name is Lauren and I love Jesus with my whole heart. I am hoping that the Holy Spirit speaks through me on this podcast to show my love and how much we all need Jesus.

In this episode, I introduce myself and the reason why I felt God put it on my heart to start this podcast. My relationship with Jesus has grown so much this past year. James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you". I share the experiences of how God spoke to me on starting Beauty and the Bible.

I am not seeking any glory or even followers (although it would help to grow the kingdom). Jesus said, "I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it". [John 8:50] I pray that the Lord uses me as a vessel to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life". [John 3:16]

I cannot wait to explore the beauty in the Bible together! I hope that this podcast gives encouragement and understanding on who God is. I pray that His will be done in all things.
