Today, Amy joins Claremont member and local historian Sigrid Werner, who shares some of the incredible history of the Claremont Project. From the beginnings in the early 20th century, to her own personal journey, we learn how Claremont has been enriching the lives of the local community for over a century.

• Sigrid first came to Claremont at Easter in 1979 (not in 1978) and then after her A-level ( in Germany: Abitur) exams. This was when she started her “gap year” in July 1979 as the “cook”.
