As Jill, one of the hosts of the "Welcome to Earth Stories After Party" podcast, I was excited to have York Campbell, the writer, director, and producer of "Welcome to Earth Stories," as our guest on the show.

However, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable with the way my co-host, Josh, interacted with York during the episode.

From the beginning, Josh seemed nervous and unprepared, which made me cringe a little. When he asked York about his motivation behind the season, I could sense Josh's lack of understanding and sensitivity towards York's creative process. It was evident that Josh was more focused on asking sensational questions rather than engaging in a meaningful conversation with our guest.

As the episode progressed, Josh's behavior became more erratic, especially when he brought up the bizarre phone call he received and insinuated that we might not be real. I could see York trying to handle the situation gracefully, but Josh's persistent questioning and conspiracy theories made me feel uneasy.

In the end, I felt relieved when York gracefully wrapped up the interview, thanking us for having him on the show. I made sure to express my gratitude to York for his time and apologize for Josh's behavior, assuring him that his work was deeply appreciated.

As we concluded the episode, I couldn't help but reflect on the importance of professionalism and respect when engaging with guests on our show. While Josh's enthusiasm is admirable, I knew that we needed to work on our communication and approach to ensure a positive and respectful environment for future guests.

Overall, the episode with York Campbell was a learning experience for me, highlighting the importance of empathy, understanding, and professionalism in the world of podcasting.
