In this episode of Welcome To Fatherhood Interviews, Sir Royce Briales and Dr. Raheem Young talk to Beki Mafuela - Husband, Father, and Counsellor about his experiences before and after becoming a dad at 45. We also talk about the economy in Zimbabwe and what Ubuntu means to him.
What does fatherhood mean to you, Beki?
As a person of faith one verse in proverbs answers this the best. A good man shall leave an inheritance to his kids. In addition, it also means I am present in my child's life, I provide for them not just financially but also emotionally, spiritually, and socially to ensure they grow up to be the best version of themselves.
Fatherhood also means protecting your children and ensuring they are safe from any physical or spiritual harm.
What advice would you give to dads?
“Get your finances in order.”
