Mark Wiley is a 5th year in the Biomedical Science PhD program at UC, Riverside. In addition to talking about his research on the endocannabinoid system, he also talks about the racial disparities that plague this country in this special episode. 

Jamiela Kokash is a Neuroscience Grad student at UC, Riverside who works on noise-induced hearing loss. In this episode she talks about her qualifying exam experience and how she advocates for her passion for science in the community.  

Will Agnew-Svoboba is in his final year of his PhD program in Neuroscience at UC, Riverside. Come and listen to his honest talk about how mental illness sparked his interest in neuroscience, and how setting the right expectations for yourself can help you cope with failure.

Paula Da Silva Frost is one of the co-host for “Welcome to Grad School.” She is originally from Brazil and has come to the United States to get a PhD in Neuroscience at UC, Riverside. Edward Vizcarra is the second co-host for “Welcome to Grad School.” He is from Santa Ana, CA and is currently working on a PhD in Biomedical Science at UC, Riverside.
