In one of the shortest conversations about an episode, Gray and Erich cover Chapter 20: Tales from the Darkside, which breaks the show’s regular format and delves into three seperate stories.
Once the show goes back to the normal format, the two talk as Betty goes full stripper even though.. she’s underage? Erich and Gray well on that for a while.
Riverdale has a new “bad boy” in town, and Erich and Gray do their job in breaking down why it’s weird to lean on date rape as a plot device. When they aren’t talking about that, they also discuss Jughead diving deeper into the serpent life, and Betty’s increasingly consequential relationship with the blackhood.
In the next chapter covered, the two go over Betty trying her best to be a detective, Jughead diving deep into the consequences of being a serpent, and the many moods of Cheryl Blossom, who is the best character in the show, despite what her mom might think.
In other news, this is the longest episode of Welcome to Riverdale to date!
In the first chapter covered this episode, Erich and Gray discuss trolling the woods to get some, neighbourhood watches, and Gray tries to sweeten the deal on Erich betting unexpectedly on who the black hood. In the second chapter covered, there’s a good old fashioned rumble! veronica proves to be a good person and girlfriend. Meanwhile the boys go over town halls and wierd gun practises. In some breaking news, Erich hates Alice Cooper.
The first epsiodes of season 2! The gang covers CHapters 14 and 15 as they go over how badass Cheryl is, how things are shaken up now that Hirem is back, and what to make of Archie and his reaction to his dad’s shooting.
In the longest episode of the podcast (probably), erich and Gray go over the season finale… which felt a lot like a season two premier. Why did Cheryl want to kill herself? Why did Cliff want to kill his son? Why does riverdale want to kill all the Southside Serpents? The team ponders these questions and more. Then, they go over the wild ride that was season 1 of riverdale, before they go over their plans for Welcome to Riverale Season 2, which incidently covers Riverdale season 2.
They said it couldn't be done! But in this week's epsiode, Erich finally discovers who Jason's murderer is! It was his dad, Mr.Blossom. Erich And Gray spend this week covering the final peices of the mystery that launched season one of Riverdale
Treachery! Polly discovers that the Blossoms might not be on the up and up while the other kids her age go to homecoming. Betty's mom throws accusations at Jughead, and Erich and Gray cover the longest summary in Welcome to Riverdale history. The show is clearly working towards an endgame, and the two hosts cover it diligetnly.
You know when your friends throw you a rager and you insisted they don't but they did? Jughead knows what that's like. Meanwhile Chuck is upset that he's been Me Tooed, and Archie's mom comes back. Gray and Erich discuss if Archie is the murderer (he isn't), and cover the mechanics of a dance off with no clear victor.
We have the shortest summary in history as Erich thinks nothing happens in this episode. Archie is brought into the fold of the Blossom family. There's an attempted suicide. The Coopers suck.
The Blossom and Andrews fathers butt heads, there's a disasterous baby shower, and Erich can't begin to stress just how much he actively despises and is concerned about the Cooper and Blossom parents. Join us for one of the shortest episodes of Welcome to Riverdale.
