Local author Jan Freeman sat down to chat with the Welcome to Springville podcast about her book, Craneridge: A 50-year View, published last year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Craneridge Association, Inc. in the Town of Concord.
I started to type out some of Jan’s great quotes from this interview, but just listen for yourself. Jan has documented a history and a perspective on one of our area’s most unique, tight-knit and community-oriented neighborhoods.
Jan poured her heart, soul and countless hours into the research, interviews and writing that made this book into a must-read.
Signed copies are available at the Colden Market & Cafe and from Jan (phone number in the interview near the end - or PM this page for it, putting a personal phone # on the internet just doesn’t seem like the best idea).
This book is a history and a treasure of information about this neighborhood full of memories.
Jan Freeman had many acknowledgements to make for the people who helped her with the research and publishing, including Rory Rinaldi and Gateway Printing.
