In this first episode of Welcome to the Comfort Zone.
In this episode, Diane discusses the Channel 4's The Jury: Murder Trial and networking events, and how introverts can often be steamrolled, or bullied even, into making and accepting decisions and doing things they don't feel comfortable with.

'If you're an introvert, you need to be more like this, more like that. You need to have more confidence, be louder, step outside of your comfort zone.'
NO, YOU DON'T.
Have you…
There's nothing wrong with introversion. You don't have to be anything 'more' than you are. You just need to find your way in the world, or to discover how to bend the world so that it fits inside your comfort zone.
Even if you need to promote yourself, network or 'put yourself out there', because your livelihood requires this, there are ways of doing this that don't feel like you're in the middle of a nightmare.
On 'Welcome to the Confort Zone' we talk about:
Introversion in general
How the world could make introverts feel more comfortable
How to promote and talk about your business without revealing any more of your personal self than you're comfortable with
Why society sees introversion as a handicap
