Don grew up vacationing on the Cape with his family and remembers dinners at Thompson’s fondly, and while Caitlin has never had the pleasure, she’s been to Cape Cod many times herself. We dive into some dark theories involving the singers of this throwback duet before previewing our next episode featuring the jingle for a now-shuttered upstate New York zoo.

In our premiere episode, Don and Caitlin review the jingle for Columbus, Ohio-based restaurant Rotolo’s Pizza. Caitlin recently discovered the tune when it was featured on the Endless Threads podcast and we found it so catchy/ridiculous that we were inspired to launch our own podcast about TV and radio jingles. We talk about what makes it great vs. what we’d change, and we rate it on catchiness, effectiveness and overall amazingness.
