"What is a scared feminine?

The term "sacred feminine" was first coined in the 1970s, in New Age popularizations of the Hindu Shakti. Hinduism also worships all goddesses that have their important roles within their archetypes. The women of the 70s drew on some of the characteristics of these goddess and created the feminine empowerment movement.

This invoked f – equality and the rise of women standing up for each other which was amazing. Women had a voice, and stood for many rights that we lost during the rise of the Christian church in the dark ages".

"So how do we tie in the feminine energy with spirituality?

It is important to separate the two and then combine them.

Spirituality is a personal belief system. It is fluid – in that unlike religious beliefs – it has no set rules or handbook to follow. Spirituality is a very personal journey of self discovery and often changes as we evolve in life.

Goddess spirituality which is what we will be discussing in this podcast is a spiritual practice that is centered around the divine feminine. Therefore our modern sacred feminine is birthed."
