Welcome to the Venn Network

On

this Raw Islam Podcast, we are talking inclusion, but before we get into the

meat of the conversation; Imam Azhar wants to talk about the tensions between

India and Pakistan.

The

Imam admits right out the gate that neither he, nor B.C. Dodge, are experts on

war or technical strategists. However, it does not take someone skilled in the

tactics of battle to see that war is never the answer.

There

are several hadiths that are sited where the Prophet (pbuh) says that it is not

preferable and there are better ways to resolve issues.

Next

the Imam tackles the topic of children in government custody. The news is

reporting that over 4,000 minor children that were separated at the border have

been abused while in government custody.

There

are thousands of children that have been taken from the parents, some that they

have lost track of the parents and may never be reunited, but beyond that some

4,500 of them have been sexually abused while in the custody of the US

Government.

All

of this causes Imam Azhar to make a prediction about the laws that surround

sexual abouse and children…what is it? And is he right? You have to listen in

to find out!

This episode of the Raw Islam Podcast opens with Imam Azhar reminding the fans and audience that there is so much coming at you so fast that sometimes we need to slow down and review what is happening, and on the Raw Islam Podcast we do that through the lens of Islam. Which, will hopefully breakdown some of the stereotypes and help bring an end to islamophobia.

With a late start to the show, which is totally B.C. Dodge’s fault, the Raw Islam Podcast jumps right into the topic on hand which is… are Muslims Anti-Semitic? And not to place spoilers in the write-up of the show, but Imam Azhar answers the question point blank with a simple “No.”

This episode of the Raw Islam Podcast opens with Imam Azhar addressing the public statements made by Chicago Cubs co-owner Joe Ricketts, in which said he considers Muslims to be his enemy, and we talk eliminating food deserts in America.

On this episode of the Raw Islam Podcast with Imam Azhar – a 2017 Podcast Award nominated podcast – we ask what it takes to be a true patriot.

As this episode opens B.C. Dodge proudly introduces the Raw Islam audience to the now famous Trumpy Bear…and yes this is a real thing.

Thankfully Imam Azhar quickly turns around the conversation, by issuing a dua for those that are affected by the California wild fires, which are the worst fire that the area has seen in many many years.

The Imam goes on to thank those that served in the United States Armed Forces, especially those that severed in World War II – that is because this episode fell on the Tuesday after Veteran’s Day and Armistice Day.

Imam Azhar does what he does best by bring the conversation home – by asking if owning this bear or wearing a red hat makes one a true patriot, or does caring about the people next to you make you a true patriot?

It is America’s love for its people that makes America great, and makes someone a patriot. Not what bears they own or hat they wear.
