Calculus is not harder than Second Grade math. Calculus is as difficult for the High Schooler as Second Grade math is for the Second Grader. Different levels of skill and perspective.

More than you know, the people you see suffering from failing to make a dream come true were undone by unexpected and seemingly innocuous side issues, not from lack of talent.

Whenever you doubt your abilities, take a break from your work and visit a gallery filled with bad art. Then, go back to work and do better than what you just observed.

Know your whys and why nots. Understand how you came about your whys and why nots. Have an idea what it would take to adjust or change your whys or why nots.

Don’t put much worry into the suddenly lost customers or clients. Put the bulk of your concern in the action or inaction you did that drove them away, and how not to do it again.

In order to find those diamonds in the rough, you have to be searching for diamonds and sifting through the rough. Gems are waiting to be found, but you have to put in your effort.
