We love giving games as gifts, so we figured why not make a podcast talking about just that. We have different price brackets and different types recipients to help find something that matches your needs. We had to remove A LOT of games from this list to get it to fit into under 90 minutes! So know that we really made the list shorter, just not that short ;) We thank you for listening to us ramble on about board games :)

Darwin's Journey is the game we are discussing this time and let me tell you (SPOILER ALERT) it is amazing! This game as the pedigree of a great game experience starting with the designers, Luciani and Mangone. Production values are of at the top of the charts from Thundergryph Games. Darwin's Journey makes worker placement so much more. Find out what we loved about it and (if there is anything) what we didn't. We appreciate all feedback and thank you for listening!

We love Lacerda games. So we thought it was time for us to do a podcast talking about the most recent heavy Lacerda  game. This one is heavy, like a bag of lead heavy. We touch on the what we liked and didn't like about the game. Yes there were a couple of things that we didn't, not many. We hope we did a good enough job for you to want to look into the game yourself. :) Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoyed your listen!  Keep gaming!

Time for another top 10 list!  This time we go back to 2017 and let me tell you this was a stack year for board games!  There were so many good co-op and dice drafting/worker placement games!  Plus the former #1 game on BGG (should still be imo) Thank you for taking the time to listen, we hope you enjoy! :)

You ever wonder what we look for in a board game?  Well we kinda tell you in this week's podcast.  We ramble (as always) but do touch upon many factors that go into what we look for in a board game.  Take a listen and be entertained! (hopefully)  Thank you for listening!

We are recapping our trip to Great Plains Game Festival this week.  We played a bunch of new to us games, bought some games, some art and got to play some games with some new friends and old friends.  It was a great weekend (sorry spoiler!) for us.  Thank you for listening!

White Castle is an amazing fast food burger joint imo, The White Castle is a board game release from Devir Games in 2023. I can't vouch for what The White Castle tastes like, but we are going to tell you what we think of the game :) This one is a dice drafting and dice worker placement game that is very snappy.  What did we think of this one, well you will have to listen to find out!  So if you are reading this (does anyone actually read these little write ups) you are appreciated and we thank you! Hope you enjoy this one!

So who wouldn't want to have been a robot inventor as a kid? I know I did. Well In Raising Robots you get to do that. In Raising Robots you are taking the role of a kid robot inventor and use all the cool things to make any robot your mind can envision, and with a lot of duct tape you can envision a bunch! With the action selection, resource management and simultaneous play you accumulate points by playing robot cards, getting good grades in class and by amassing points during the game through your robots.  If any of that sounds cool this game is for you!  I haven't even mentioned probably the part we love the most, the art.  All the robots are unique creations and just are full of personality! Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy!!

We don't have a Top 10 list or a new hot game to talk about this time.  We do have a great game from Stonemaier Games, Tapestry!  I am going to do my best to not overdo the puns in this description.  We will talk about our plays of Tapestry and  experiences playing the game that shape and define our thoughts of it.  (wait did I just describe the the meaning of tapestry, dang.  I tried) We will touch on the expansions as well.  Thank you for listening as always!
