Jesus promises that the God, through the power of the Spirit,
will take up residence in and through us. Until we welcome God into
our lives, like Lydia does in Acts 16, we cannot welcome others in
the Spirit of love. If God really moves into your life, can you
imagine what kind of luggage God brings? The promise is that God
unpacks hope, love, and peace into our lives; and those are things
we desperately seek and can find nowhere else.
