The blind beggar in Luke 18 is a great example of how we should request and respond to Jesus healing us. Miracles still happen today and the Bible shows us how we can ask for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. While we all will die sometime and the Lord doesn’t always choose to heal everyone we should pray and pursue divine healing because Scripture says it’s available through Jesus. The greatest need in every person's life is to know Jesus Christ as Savior. In this message, Pastor Chris Teien explains why salvation is found in Christ alone, how we can be certain of eternal life, and why every believer should confidently share the hope of the gospel with others.

Jesus came into the world to seek and save the lost. Through His death and resurrection, He paid the penalty for our sins and offers forgiveness, new life, and eternal security to everyone who places their faith in Him. When we know we are secure in Christ, we can live with confidence and help others discover the same hope.

1. Understand Why You Need a Savior

Every person has sinned and stands in need of God's forgiveness. No amount of good works or religious effort can remove our guilt, but Jesus Christ came to rescue us from sin and restore our relationship with God. (Luke 19:10; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23)

2. Trust the Finished Work of Christ

Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. His death and resurrection provide the only way for us to be forgiven and made right with God. (Matthew 20:28; Matthew 26:26-28; Galatians 3:13)

3. Receive the Gift of Salvation by Faith

Salvation is received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Everyone who calls upon the Lord in faith can experience forgiveness, eternal life, and a restored relationship with God. (Romans 10:9-13; Acts 4:12; John 3:16-18)

4. Live with Confidence in Your Security in Christ

Believers can know they have eternal life because God's promises are trustworthy. As we rest in Christ's finished work, we can confidently share our faith and encourage others to trust in Him. (1 John 5:11-13; John 10:28-30; 2 Corinthians 5:17)

The greatest day ever will be when Jesus returns - unless you haven't put your faith in Him. Jesus said He was coming back but He didn't specify when. The more we grow in our faith the more we long to see Jesus face to face. Life can get difficult when we are trying to live out His will for our lives and it can lead to hardships and conflicts.
