Well Good Movies

In our latest episode, we talk about the feel-good indie classic- Little Miss Sunshine from 2006. Celebrating 15 years since its release this year, as well as being challenged to watch it by WGM team member Shelley, we go through the legacy, importance, and personal connections we have to this film that started the careers of many of its cast and crew.

We of course make a visit to the Movie Vault, to ask if Little Miss Sunshine should be entered, and also challenge Kelly and Shelley to one of our most bizarre Endgames yet; Little Miss Endgame!

Don't forget to like, follow, and share wherever you can to help us spread our love of the topics worth discussing and the movies worth watching!

The latest episode of Well Good Movies goes back through the X-citing and turbulent movies that belonged to the "X-Men Beginnings Trilogy" that covers X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and X-Men: Apocalypse.

We are once again joined by comic lover and host of the Capes, Cowls, and Masks Podcast- Jake Hart who helps us to break down and give our overall thoughts to each of these superhero blockbusters!

Will any make it in the Movie Vault? Which film was our personal favourite? And why does Michael Fassbender turn Irish in First Class?

Join us for all those questions and more in this week's episode!

Get over here! This week Dave and Craig are joined by writer Rhys Humphreys and gamer Kieran Williams to discuss the Mortal Kombat film series! We delve into our thoughts on the potential for the franchise ahead of the 2021 movie, as well as discussing and reviewing the good and bad (a lot of bad) of Mortal Kombat (1995) and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997).

Will either one make it into the movie vault, and how do they hold up today? We discuss all that along with this week's endgame "Meme-ory Lane"!

In this week's episode, Dave and Craig are joined once again by our friend Stephen Jones to chat about our favourite easter eggs in movies (not the chocolate kind) as well as watching and discussing films we placed in the movie vault, we may have never seen before!

With classics such as Groundhog Day, The Man Who Laughs, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, we ask whether these films meet our expectations, and deserve their place in our vault of important movies!

A brand new and additional episode to celebrate the release of Godzilla Vs. Kong! This week Dave and Craig are joined by Niall and Dai to discuss versus movies! We'll be discussing the appeal of films that showcase a big fight right in their title. Do they work? Are they fun? And are they all just about big silly monsters?

To find out we pick a versus movie each from a hat to discuss on the episode, leading to some great results. But which one will go into the movie vault? Only one way to choose... Let them fight!

We're back with another crazy challenge! After previous experience pitching movies based on working titles, this time we wanted to pitch theme park rides for the world-famous Disney Land and Disney World!

As we're unable to travel to such fun places at the moment, and with theme park tie-ins becoming ever more apparent to film, we wanted to encapsulate that fun ourselves along with our guests Kelly Bishop and Stephen Jones, pitching what Disney Classics we'd like to see get the theme park treatment!

How will it work? Will it be fast? Lots of drops? Souveniers? Entertainment in the queue? These are questions we tackle in convincing each other or rides are feasible!

Not only do we have to convince ourselves, however, but also the great Dr Sam Summers, from the Disnivirsity Podcast, who gives his thoughts on all our ideas. Whether a Disney fan or not, this is a fun ride you don't want to miss!
