In Psalm 119 verse 145 - 176 we see a heartfelt crescendo of dependence, where the psalmist cries out to be made alive according to God’s Word. Surrounded by affliction, he finds both his need for salvation and the promise of it in the Law.
Loving God’s statutes brings life, praise, and great peace, even as he humbly confesses his tendency to wander and pleads for revival.
