In 1997 somebody thought it would be a good idea to make a movie about twelve foot long bugs. What a great idea. In 2017 the magic random movie button decided we should talk about it.  So, we did.  Dan likes horror movies and this certainly qualifies, but will it escape General Population? You'll have to tune in, or download and listen, to find out.

We make poop jokes. (Not the first time, probably won't be the last) If you're wondering the tone is 440 Hz and 18 dB. S-brrrrrrr-t, so no explicit tag, but whew it was close.

Our sincerest apologies on the tardiness of this episode. 

Brian does most of the heavy editing on the weekend prior to release and this weekend was Christmas. So instead of editing, family time took precedence. We hope you understand.

There were also some minor technical issues with the sound on Dan's end and our audio guy (Brian) wasn't able to fix it. Dan is slightly choppy in this episode, but we hope it doesn't affect your enjoyment too much.  In this, our first foreign language film, we chat about a 2012 Korean film called A Company Man.

First things first. in the intro Brian inadvertanly refers to this as Episode 19. Because of the Bonus Episode this is technically the 19th episode, but since we didn't number the Bonus Episode, this is really episode 18. We'll figure all that out :).In this episode we discuss the heavy use of the N-word in this movie, however, we do not use the word. We discussed it beforehand and decided we couldn't justify the use in a family style podcast. We discuss some of our past actions and take a deep dive into racism and the satirical approach to confronting it. During the editing process we left a few things on the proverbial cutting room floor, just to try and keep the length manageble. 

Don't worry, we keep it pretty light (we hope).
