Well-Rounded Nerd

If there was anything I knew for certain as a boy, it's that Han shot first, Marty hated being called, "Chicken," and that it’s all in the reflexes. Each of us has grown up with certain movies and pop culture icons that have shaped who we are today. Whether it was wearing a fedora and carrying a whip around the house or having lightsaber battles with my friends, I would not be who I am without their influence. Cam and I share our favorite influencers and go over recent news and trailer releases.

Many of us had been waiting a long time for this movie ever since it was announced after Man of Steel. But even after it premiered, some feel like they are still waiting for it. On the other hand, there are plenty who are completely satisfied with the end result. Although it wasn't everything the execs at DC and Warner Bros thought it would be it still made quite a bit of money regardless. Whether you liked it or not there is plenty to say about this super hero movie and our reactions to it. Cameron and I give our honest if somewhat biased opinions on this clash of super hero icons. Don't forget to check out our sponsor this week Comic Bento where you can $50 worth of great graphic novels every month for under $25. Check them out.

Back in 2013 Warner Bros kicked off their cinematic universe with a movie that continues to face a mountain of scrutiny. With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice  about to break, fan boys and movie goers alike may be wondering if it will be Man of Steel 2.0 or something far greater. Cameron and I talk about this updated Superman movie and the reasons so many love, hate, or find themselves confused by it. Don't forget to check out our sponsor Comic Bento http://bit.ly/1RNXYPy

Captain America Civil War receives it's final trailer and swings in with a big spiderman reveal. Not only is this the first time we have seen spiderman since Andrew Garfield but also the first time that Marvel itself has been able to lay any claim to the character they sold rights to many years ago. This week I am joined by Joe Cherry and Cameron Munk to chat it up about the trailer and try out a new section of the show. Come check it out
