  • 119. Fun Talk with Timmy Davis

This week I am joined by my friend Timmy Davis. Timmy and I train together at Pure MMA and I knew he would be fun to have on the show. Our conversation flowed very well and is a fun listen. We speak about a variety of topics including: BJJ, mountain biking, rock climbing, cars, lack of police training in BJJ, being Italian, our mindset, the subconcious mind, and much more. You will enjoy this episode! Enjoy.

  • 118. Psyop?

With the shenanigans that occurred in the past week, I decided to take a moment to share my opinion on what may have been the cause. I am talking about all the scare that surrounded the eclipse and while I am the first to be skeptical and trust very little of what the "officials" of our government says, I also believe that the rumors (if they were true or not, I have no idea) could have done more harm than good. Listen to find out why.

  • 117. What Lies Ahead

This week, I bring another solo episode sharing my thoughts about the current political and social climate and how we need to be aware of the tactics the bad actors may use. I would not categorize this episode as political, rather a brief overview of how we need to stay strong as a people. I also talk about a conversation I had at the bar that made me think about how, as a society, people will mostly just expect the worst out of situations, and how we should do our best to stray away from this way of thinking.

  • 116. Love People and Use Things with Phil McEntee

This week, I welcome back my great friend, Phil McEntee. If you have not listened to Phil's first two episodes, I highly recommend that you do for some great conversations (episodes 55 and 89). Although all guests bring immense value to the show, I love my conversations with Phil because he is a very philosophical and deep thinker. In this episode, Phil gives his perspective on life and how he has grown over the past 45 years (Phil will have turned 45 by the time this episode drops). We discuss how his outlook on life has changed, why he feels he's living his best life, and what it took to get there. We also talk about the problems plaguing our society and the importance for us to get back on track. Finally, we speak about Phil's journey as a father, husband, and brother which allows for some raw moments of emotion. There are some tear jerkers in this episode. I always enjoy Phil's presence and I know you will enjoy the conversation.

  • 115. What's the Reason?

Back at you guys with another solo show in which I discuss what's on my mind with regards to how we (as people) respond to others. I pose the question of why most people's default response is negativity when it comes to another's personal decisions. Do we do it as a defense mechanism or is there something else there? This also leads into the discussion of why are we here on this Earth? If we can't enjoy our lives and live our dreams than what's the purpose? I don't have the answer for you but hope that you will at least ponder these questions. Enjoy.

  • 114. Focus on You and Be Honest with Yourself with Andy Segovia

This week I am joined by my friend and fellow Pure MMA teammate, Andy Segovia. Andy is a father, husband, police officer and former professional MMA fighter. We had a great time talking about how he got his start in MMA, how MMA has helped in the police force, and discuss current events and our views on the subject matter. There is a lot of golden moments in this show, especially when it takes a fun and complete 180 around the forty-five minute mark. This was a great show and I know you will laugh along. Please enjoy.

  • 113. It Starts with Us

This week I bring you a solo talk regarding the importance of being a good person and the implications it can have on improving our society. I am focusing on this topic now for two reasons: 1) the current climate of the world and 2) I see/hear it more in my conversations with people. No matter who you are or what you do, always try to be the best version of yourself, help others, and do you best to find happiness.

  • 112. Who We Are

Another solo podcast this week in which Italk about the mind and how our thoughts have a deep impact on our lives and realities. I discuss the importance of establishing who you are ("I Am"), so you can set the basis of experiencing awesome things in your life. Those of you that know me already know that I love learning about the subconcious and practicing techniques to control my thoughts. I have seen some cool things happen in my life that were consciously created from said thoughts. I also pair this topic with that of doing what you want and living the life you want. This is imperative to happniess, in my opinion. Enjoy.

  • 110. Phil Hawes

This week, I had the pleasure of talking with professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, Phil Hawes, who I met on the mats at Pure MMA. Phil has incredible skill, strength, and technique that is matched by very few. More importantly, Phil is very down to earth and genuine, so when he agreed to come on the show, I knew we would have a great conversation. We speak about how Phil got his start in MMA, his time in the UFC and Thailand, his growing feud with Jake Paul/plans for the future, and much more. Phil is very personable and I know you will feel this too. Below are some of Phil's impressive accolades. Please enjoy the show!
