Dom Davis is, by anyone standards, a successful software professional. He also suffers from severe mental health issues.
I wanted to find out what a day in the life of Dom Davis is like. How he juggles conflicting challenges and comes out of it on top.
Dom is also mental health advocate who has delivered many public talks on the subject. He doesn't claim to be an expert on anything but his own experience, but he does believe that by sharing that experience he will be able to encourage others to seek the help they need and improve their own lives.
*Trigger warning* This episode contains a deep conversation about subjects that some listeners may find upsetting or disturbing. These include suicide attempts, suicide ideation, other near-death experiences, and a detailed and graphic look at the internal and external effects of mental health problems.
Really enjoyed talking to Tom about his journey from a high-pressure commercial role, with the sleepless nights and anxiety that come with it, to a new career path where he finds meaning, and helps others to do the same.
Could you benefit from a certified expert describing processes you can go through, and methods you can apply which will help you to know you are making the right decisions on your own career path too. Then listen on!

This episode was such an eye opener for me, with Sam offering so many perspectives that I had never even considered before! It was such a privilege for me to welcome Sam Fuller to our podcast!
In this episode Sam Fuller provides advice and meaningful insight on how to navigate your own individual journey, and how to foster a culture of wellbeing in your company.
Duty of care: Please remember that there is no weakness in getting help. I did it, and both me and my family are eternally thankful for the changes I was guided towards making.
For individuals:
If you need to seek help, the below organisations offer free services.
If you are in the UK there are also many options available on the NHS, which depend on your region (not all of them required you to visit a GP)
