We find ourselves in an in between space.  In between now and when everyone has a vaccine. In between despair and the possibility of hope.  This podcast episode encourages us to allow this time and space to lean into the in between, to consider what we may want to hold onto as we return to normal(ish) and to consider how we have changed individually and collectively because of our experiences this last year.   As we do this we can move forward, together with faithfulness, grace and intention.

The pandemic is one of those in between places. Let's look how Jesus modeled restorative love in his interaction with a Smartian woman. 

We will look at Zacchaeus' life and see he was moved to repair and restore. 

Blessing is a theme that stretches from Genesis to Revelation in the Scriptures. A prayer of blessing may be one of the most misunderstood forms of prayer.   A blessing is not a prayer to be #blessed.  Often in our culture we equate blessings with God’s favor or prosperity or abundance of some material thing.

A traditional Christian prayer of Blessing is actually quite the opposite.  Instead of a prayer to be #blessed, a prayer of blessing is a form of prayer to display God's desire for our wholeness and for shalom (peace).

A blessing is a God’s gracious invitation and promise to always be with us.  This service is an interactive time of prayer together blessing our homes.  Every dwelling space deserves a home blessing no matter the size or location!
