By 2014, Belle Gibson was an incredibly popular wellness influencer. She published a book and created a hugely successful app called The Whole Pantry that caught the eye of Steve Jobs. Her story of defeating cancer by eating healthy, exercising, and using alternative therapies was truly inspirational. The only problem is she lied about having cancer and pretty much everything else about her life, including her age and upbringing.
