This is not your typical sermon. Building on the historical example of the church at Ephasus, Pastor Tim leads us through an examination of research on the lifecycle of the church. This is not mere academics, because we need to ask ourselves a question: What will Wells Creek be known for? And what will each of us be known for? Will it be following Christ, and bringing his Word to the world?

When Jesus declared that the gates of Hell would not prevail against his church, and the church grows around the world, why is the church in America, in our community, in decline? Pastor Tim opens Acts, Ephesians and Revelation to give us a profile of the church at Ephasus, and consider what happened to it.

Building on the foundation of part 1, Pastor Tim continues his thoughts on what role prayer has in church life, what it should look like and how God uses it.

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Over and over in Revalation and the Gospels is this call to attend God's Word. The real question is, ask Pastor Tim, is: are we listening? 

This first sermon is foundational; setting some ground work for next week before we can fully answer, or at least fully consider, this question.

For Father's Day, Pastor Tim takes a brief side jaunt, looking at Lot.
