1. Read Exodus 4:20. Moses takes the staff of God as a physical reminder of God's power and presence with him. What are some significant reminders in your life of God's faithfulness?
2. In what circumstances do you need to be reminded of God's power and presence today?
3. Where in life are you tempted to focus on producing outcomes through your own efforts rather than simply walking in obedience to God?
4. Read Exodus 4:24-26. What does this difficult passage teach us about the seriousness of sin, and how can you maintain a proper perspective on the seriousness of sin in your own life?
