We have opportunity to give reviews for just about everything. We are also many times receiving a review by others and may feel as if they are anything but a 5-star review. We need to know that God's review of us is always given based on His grace and love for us and who we are in Him.

We can at times listen to our critics and determine we are less than, based on what they say. It's important that we  understand and realize that God is not our critic but the One who sees and knows our potential, knows who we are today and who will become by His power and His grace.

The God of the universe desires to have an intimate relationship with us. He desires to be known as our Father, our Abba, the One who sees us, hears us, forgives us and will always be with us. As we draw near to Him, He draws near to us and fills our lives with His love, grace and peace.

God is good all the time and as followers of Jesus we are to be like Him. We are to cling to what is good and be conduits of God's goodness to others, especially to those that we determine do not deserve it. When we choose to do good, refuse to get even, and determine to overcome evil with good we experience a "different kind of victory".

A sign that we are being transformed is, when we choose to see the value of others and are willing to esteem and honor them above ourselves. We need to realize that it is a privilege to serve one another and help each other become better.

Transformation begins when we choose not to live for ourselves and choose to live for Jesus. When we have a true assessment of ourselves based on Scripture and realize that we have been given the honor to serve others, transformation takes place and "It is no longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me. In the words of Charles Spurgeon..."I have now concentrated all my prayers into one, and that one prayer is this, that I may die to self, and live wholly to Him."  May that be the desire of our heart's to pray the same.

We like Moses have been called by God to follow faithfully and fulfill our purpose for His kingdom and glory. We are to run the race marked out for us, with perseverance, keeping our eyes on Jesus. It's not how we start that matters the most, its how we finish. Finish well!

Change is inevitable, whether we deem it good or bad, it will always happen. We can find great encouragement and assurance in knowing that God is omniscient and omnipresent. He knows what is to come even though we don't and He will always be with us to guide us and walk with us when the winds of change come.

God's plan for rescuing the Children of Israel out of slavery was not simply to move them into a new country, it was to bring them into a new way of living. He chose them to be His nation, His treasured position and to become a beacon of hope to other nations. He desired for them to take a step toward a new mindset, that they were no longer slaves to the ways of Egypt but now they can trust and rely on God's presence, power and provision. He is asking us to take the next step in trusting and relying on Him to faithfully be all we need Him to be.
