Wenatchee First Assembly

Have you ever struggled to pray?  To stay focused while praying?  Perhaps been confused about what to pray for?  Today Pastor Jerry shares the WFA value of "Spirit Empowerment" for our prayer life.

Who is the Church supposed to be? We are called to be salt and light to a lost world, which means being set apart. How can the Church be people that are different from the world without isolating ourselves from outsiders? This Sunday Pastor Allen helps us dive into scripture and look at how the Early Church experienced their growing pains when trying to become more outward-focused.

Based on our Journey Bible reading, Pastor Jerry will take the familiar portion of Scripture Psalm 23 this week and teach on developing a life of hope.

Our Journey Bible reading recently focused on Nehemiah.  This Sunday Pastor Jerry will look at 5 things we can learn from him when it comes to problem solving.

Each one of us should be moving from milk to meat as we grow in our relationship with Christ.  Using 1 Corinthians 3 as the springboard, Pastor Jerry will explore the second value of WFA which is "Spiritual Development."

In our "Journey Bible Reading" this week we've met a man named Naaman who had one big barrier that stood in his way. Pastor Jerry will unpack this story and show us how we can become the person God designed us to be.

Pastor Jerry speaks on the importance and value of "authentic community" here at Wenatchee First Assembly.

As the baseball season opens, Pastor Jerry finds three quick and to-the-point reminders from Paul's writing to the church in Corinth that apply to baseball and our Christian life.  We will learn how these three priorities, or areas of focus, will guide us through each day.

This week the question that will be posed is, "Does the resurrection affect you?"  Today we will feature communion, special music, media, and a video testimony of a total transformation of one of our members.  Come expecting to experience the power of His resurrection in our individual lives and in our midst.

This Sunday Pastor Jerry continues our "Enemies of the Heart Series" with "Greed: I Owe Me." We will dive into the 12th chapter of Luke and see just what the scripture has to say about greed, and the effects it can have in our lives.
