Wenatchee First Assembly

We live in a world that loves Christmas time, but in many ways, it's lost touch with the heart and true meaning of the season. This Sunday, we'll be looking at the prophecies found in Isaiah concerning the coming Messiah. These prophecies reveal God's heart, which in turn shows us the heart of Christmas.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! This Sunday, we kick off the season by looking at the story that changed the course of human history. It's not just "A" Christmas story, it's "The" Christmas story.

The Holy Spirit is more than an accessory; He’s a necessity in life. Through Him, there is wisdom, power, direction, discernment, and a lifeline to the presence of God. Without Him, we can't accomplish God’s perfect will in our lives. Today, we will look at the Holy Spirit's role in "Building for Blessing."

With so many voices trying to tell you what to believe, how to think, and what to do, it can be hard to discern what is right, what is true, and what is just popular. When life seems uncertain, it's important to stop and find clarity. Today, Pastor Darth will share three specific "decisions" that will help bring clarity as you build for blessing in your life.

As Thanksgiving approaches, Pastor Jerry will be sharing today how we can always have a grateful heart, despite our circumstances, if we truly understand and embrace the love and faithfulness of God.

In part four of our series, "Building for Blessing," we'll be taking a closer look at character. Character is more than who you appear to be; it's who you truly are on the inside. And when the pressures of life come, that's when your true self begins to show through. Today, Pastor Darth shares about "Three Legs to Strong Character."

Change is inevitable – life is constantly changing. But some changes lead to something greater, better, and bigger. In fact, God many times orchestrates change in order to bring about blessing in our lives.  Today, we will be looking at part two of our series "Building for Blessing."

All great achievements in life don’t just happen; they begin with preparation and planning. The same goes for spiritual blessing and growth. If you want blessing in your life, you must choose to build spiritual structure to support it. Today, Pastor Darth begins a new sermon series, Building for Blessing.

Our mission at WFA is "Helping People Find and Follow Jesus."  We do this by living out the three commands of Loving God,  Loving Others, and Making Disciples.  Pastor Dan will be speaking this Sunday on Doing Our Mission Like Jesus.  We will examine how Jesus modeled the mission and how we can do it also by the Holy Spirit that lives in us as Jesus Followers.

Today, we'll wrap up our DNA series as we focus on our Core Beliefs as a church. Biblical doctrine and theology matter. We will look at what we believe and why we believe it!
