With One Hand Tied behind My Brain: A Memoir of Life after Stroke, Amazon.

*Actually happened prior to our Monster Hike interview: Link.

Sasquatch, Marfa Lights, 86 mile River Trek... all on the 'been there done that' list...

Life challenges can sometimes be difficult to articulate and can even lose the reader when the words fail. However, there is an advantage when your storyteller, guide and translator is a gifted writer.

Amazon Review - 5.0 out of 5 stars Wow.

This is the funniest book I have ever read about a catastrophic medical event. I would compare it favorably to the Norman Cousins classic Anatomy of an Illness...except Seale is the better writer and "One Hand" the better book. It's that good.
Avrel - and his one hand guitar technique. Link.

Everything I was trying to say -- in this review of his latest book: "I like writers who can bring you on a journey with their story, and make you feel what they have felt." Link.

Wordpress. The Trailhead.

PS. re Next book. This is the river he talks about "pedaling" to the ocean: It is the southernmost river in Texas north of the Rio Grande. Nueces is Spanish for nuts;  Spanish explorers named the river after the numerous pecan trees along its banks. Nueces River. Wiki.

TPR Interview with Avrel includes a pic of Dash Crofts (I need to locate my pic of me with Dan Seals - Media intro for his performance - only 20 + years ago!).

Conspiracy triple play - Hollywood, Politics and ETs. A perfect indoor diversion from the summer heat.

Nick Redfern has long been captivated by this mystery. Diligently mapping the knowns, he outlines the supporting cast and details the significance of their presence in Diary of Secrets: UFO Conspiracies and the Mysterious Death of Marilyn Monroe, Amazon.

Decades after the untimely death of the Hollywood superstar, best-selling author, Nick Redfern revives the mystery. Doesn't hurt that he has in his possession a document - believed to be authentic - suggesting an interesting UFO correlation when it first surfaced in 1994.

That document suggested Marilyn had knowledge that could put her at risk.

The problem is now that so much time has passed, subsets to the main characters with significant clues to toss at us - if they do exist - may have become well camouflaged or deceased.

Nick's research indicates connecting pieces of the puzzle were intentionally removed. Actions by various third parties at the time of Marilyn's death suggest purposeful scrubbing of locations and collecting of items that may have been considered incriminating.

The list of questions expands along with the body count. Nick suggests he plans to keep this file open - on the hope another clue will drop to fill in the blanks. No use signing off just yet.

With luck a great-grandchild might surface with a deathbed key - timed to unlock the pertinent details when the dust has long settled - ensuring no past, present or future fallout to any of the major, minor or crypto players.

Bio: British Ufologist and Cryptozoologist, Nick specializes in all things Fortean, Paranormal and Unexplained. Author of more than 60 books, he is an active advocate of official disclosure and has worked to uncover thousands of pages of previously-classified Royal Air Force, Air Ministry and Ministry of Defence files on UFOs dating from the Second World War from the Public Record Office.

Nick is a regular on the History Channel: Monster Quest and UFO Hunters. He can also be seen on National Geo's Paranormal and SyFY's Proof Positive.

Welcome to the neighborhood: home of UFOs, Little People, Lights and Bigfoot.

CS Matthews covers other oddities in her book, including missing time and haunts along the underground railroad.

About that up close and personal experience with Sasquatch. We talk about the night she was driving home and being extremely cautious, anticipating the ever possible deer encounter and hoping to avoid contact. Then she saw Bigfoot.

Amazon Bio: Dr. CS Matthews has studied paranormal experiences and reports for over 4 decades, has advanced degrees in Religious Studies and American Cultural Studies and is an ardent environmentalist. She lives in the beautifully haunted Mid-Hudson Valley of New York State where she teaches at local colleges and works for a prominent non-profit organization. Amazon Review: A specific book in a field that often generalizes -
"I love that this book has the courage to look at the weird and particular. It doesn't just go the usual "UFOs over [your state here]" route-- it really feels lived in and personal. It captures that inimitable, strange Hudson Valley magic."

Brief reference to her dissertation - Taken: Constructions of Race, Biology and Colonialism informing the Alien Abduction Narrative in the United States.  568 pg. PDF. (Contact her.) Underscores the need to further explore the differences between cultures, Indigenous, African American vs White narrative in the UFO experience. Tons of reference material. Worth an update!

Previous Interview - Wendy's Coffeehouse - 5.2.2021

What does a child do with that information? The child chose to remain quiet until that information was safe to unpack. Was it even possible to change from male to female? The truth had to be hidden, but the seed was planted and the mental journey had begun.

The metamorphosis spanned years but the desire was ingrained. When the opportunity finally presented itself - there was no turning back.

Courage, perseverance, trust, faith. In completing the transition - she became a person who at last felt comfortable in her own skin.

PrWeb: “Changeling: The Unremarkable Story of My Remarkable Life” from Page Publishing author Susan Calvin is a poignant autobiography detailing her childhood as a boy in postwar Missouri, service as an Army combat pilot deployed in Vietnam, and her ultimate pursuit of personal happiness through a courageous transition to the woman she was meant to be.

Amazon Reader Review: 5.0 out of 5 stars - A well written book. "I am thankful I had the opportunity to read ‘Changeling’. The story of a child who at birth had the body of a male, but had the thoughts and feelings of a female. A well written account of her struggles and torment as she matured. It is an insightful and informative account of her life, written so others may be able to understand her journey."

Beyond the paranormal and the metaphysics we highlighted in this interview, the real story is Synchronicity - a play by play.

If you have ever wondered what it might be like to trust the journey and follow your hunches. symbols, signs, patterns and codes - this is what it is like to be open to the possibilities - that each action is relevant and all encounters have purpose.

Follow along with Jonathan Fink - in his documentation of the ongoing journey [over the past 5 years] - related on case by case basis throughout multiple volumes of The Baseball Gods are Real and The Music Gods are Real.

Amazon Reader Review: Great Book, "Ah yes the age old question of are the baseball gods real? This book may not give you the perfect answer you are looking for, but I know it will help show you how the universe plays a part not only in baseball, but in our everyday lives. After reading this book I quickly learned why the baseball gods brought this book to me and maybe you can too. Great Book and I am looking forward to reading Vol.2 of this 3 Vol. Series!"

Fascinating - how Jonathan engages with just the right person or piece of information in his various interactions along the way. Even when others might be doubtful - Jonathan remains strong in his mindset - that whatever the outcome - it will work in his favor.

We learn a lot through his adventures and see just how effectively the mindset he demonstrates delivers {in some cases - miraculous} manifest and credible results.

What is MOMO? Lacking a conclusive answer - for the purpose of this fictional tale - it is an opportunity to let the imagination run a few laps and see what develops. How spooky can it get? Cue suspense theme ...

Edgar Cayce and the Unfulfilled Destiny of Thomas Jefferson Reborn. Amazon.

Great things were to be expected from Thomas Jefferson Davis according a prophecy delivered by Cayce when T.J. was 2 days old.

While there is no doubt T.J. led a colorful life - it was also a troubled life. Roadblocks dumped on his path include his parents who had to be overwhelmed at the prospect of trying to provide the perfect environment to nurture a future world influencer.

The projected grand accomplishments failed to transpire. What happened?

Past Life Researcher, Therapist, Author, Teacher, Joanne DiMaggio spent nearly a decade tracking down the history for this story.

While details help to set the stage for how the relationship was forged between child and benefactor, what becomes even more apparent is the fact Thomas Jefferson Davis being tutored by Cayce at that early age shaped his world view and spiritual perspective in ways that may not have been apparent until later - much later in his life.

According to Joanne, T.J. [in his 80's] has only within the last ten years started talking about some of the extraordinary conversations they shared. Focus on reincarnation and that famous past life is overshadowed by the realization that - through the relationship - there is still more to learn about the man considered to be the father of holistic medicine and the most documented psychic of the 20th century.

His memories are a gold mine for those who remain curious about the workings and wonderings of Edgar Cayce.

Regarding Cayce's thoughts on Auras, Levitation, Reincarnation, Telepathy, Precog Dreams, Atlantis, Mind power, Healing, The Creation Story. Those are questions T.J. can address having known the man who taught him to make friends with the fairies. And in having read all 14 thousand Cayce readings.

(Retired) "Professor Emeritus at Montana State University and former Director of the Center for Bilingual/Multicultural Education. Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke is Cherokee/Choctaw and has worked with indigenous people for most of her career."

One of the most fascinating accounts Ardy includes in this collection is from Tom. He provided an experiencer's insight on portals. Unforgettable. Ardy shares some of the locations. Step into/through one? Might be good to have a tour guide to ensure the adventure is round trip.

We talk about the stories from More Encounters with Star People: Urban American Indians Tell their Stories. Amazon.

"As in her previous two books, Dr. Clarke's journey and the unique, incredible stories collected along the way provides  answers to age-old questions in the words of the original people of America and sheds new light on their connection  with the cosmos."

Her first ufology book, Encounters With Star People: Untold Stories of American Indians, was a best seller. Her most recent book is Space Age Indians: Their Encounters with the Blue Men, Reptilians, and Other Star People. Amazon.

Reader Review - "As a former "experiencer", and MUFON investigator the subjects of UFO's have obviously been of great interest for me ever since I was about 8 years of age. I simply mention this because I have (as you might have guessed), read many a book and article on UFO's and aliens. There are many styles of writing to cover this unique subject but, none as well as Ardy Sixkiller Clarke."

What is a walk-in? Sheila and the 15 other walk-ins covered in the book are telling their stories to provide a context and offer insight that, although each experience is unique, there are some basic characteristics.

Sheila says if you had asked her 25 years ago if something like this was possible - she would have thought you were crazy. After the switch happened in 1999, she wondered for several years if indeed she WAS crazy.

"Sheila’s DNA was instantaneously infused with light and it shifted from her being a very sick person, having been clinically diagnosed with and suspected of having brain tumors, bone cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, migraines, multiple sclerosis, sarcoidosis, erythema nodosum and she periodically walked with a cane to a disease free body. Her lifestyle, personality, and remembrance was forever changed."

Walk-ins: The Cosmology of the Soul

Summary: A walk-in is a soul that has agreed to exchange places with a soul that is currently inhabiting a body. This is called a soul exchange. There are different types of walk-ins and in this book we meet 15 people who have experienced various aspects of this phenomenon, from soul infusions to braids to overlays to jumpers to soul layering. They come from all different parts of our galaxy and beyond. If reading these words resonates with you, and you answered yes to these questions, you may be a walk-in.

Ouija board to contact ETs - UFOs? Not that he advocates that approach, but the stories he has collected suggest ETs and others do respond via the Ouija board method.
