Desk Reject is back with a brand new name, a slightly new concept and even less gender diversity than before!

For the first episodes, the hosts Alexander Staub, Philipp Becker and Marco Leander Rapp will be applying their newfound wisdom as freshly minted Assistant Professors at Esade, Utrecht University and University of Amsterdam to discuss the following topics:

  • How to appropriately deal with tragedy of co-workers and or students
  • Whether we are incentivized too much, not enough or just the right amount to produce research that appears surprising
  • How to handle smalltalk situation in class and at conferences
