All of us here in Hightower’s office (especially Hightower!) have come across some amazing, hard-working candidates over the years, and those candidates bring us hope and optimism for the future.
And among all those special candidates, some stand out even more. One of the best candidates we’ve ever encountered, and had the pleasure to work with, is Clayton Tucker. A rancher from the home of American Populism—Lampasas, Texas—he’s a tireless worker and a scrappy fighter for the people. Clayton puts in long days on his family ranch and as fair-trade organizer, and he then spends his evenings working on issues that Texans are facing, working to make our state better for everyone. These aren't just flowery words—we know him, have worked with him, and have seen him in action.

PS— To top it all off, he’s also a dog person!
