This week we talk about news for the coming MCU movies/TV shows including the new Black Panther, Thor, Doctor Strange,  WandaVision series... And some things that are not news at all. Like, did you know Robert Downey Jr. had a drug problem in the 90s? How about an album of rock-ballads in the 00s? How about our mutual love for the Fantastic Four movie that came out over 10 years ago? All this and more in our mini recap of the recent Marvel news plus just what's been on our minds in general.

Time to discuss the only existing female-led MCU movie to date, until Black Widow this November. So it's time for some typical girl talk where we try to decipher what this movie is actually about or any actual detail of the plot. Will any plot-holes be filled, or by the end are we just more confused than when we started?

This week, we decided to have Christmas in September and watch Netflix's 'A Christmas Prince' trilogy instead of a Marvel movie for the third time. What really shocked us was how many similarities there were between these Rom-Com/Hallmark-style movies and our favorite Marvel trilogy: the three Iron Mans. 

As we get into the weird coincidences of the two, we also start to discuss Thor and C*ptain Am*rica as their own trilogies, and how they all reflect similar patterns. Two genres that usually are not considered as companions are no match for Spenser and Kara on this journey to complete enlightenment on every popular or sub-genre movie.

Ready for a hot take? This episode is all about why we HATE Captain America... Or do we? 

In this shocking installment, Spenser, Kara, and special guest Kasey re-watch Captain America: The First Avenger, or as we call it: the worst Marvel movie (that's in our ranking; Kasey didn't hate it as much). To make sure we could get through it, we employed the aid of our homemade Marvel drinking game (rules are included, you're welcome), and in our  slightly-tipsy debriefing after the movie we realized... Maybe we don't hate Captain America as much as we thought??? 

Feel free to watch the movie and play along with us, or if you want to have a drinking game for this episode, just drink every time we say "war" "corrupt" or "boobs".

In today's episode Kara and Spenser see a double feature of some of top-tier entertainment--Spider-Man: Homecoming & Spider-Man: Far From Home. Along the way, there is discussion about how the villains of the films are, essentially, anti-Capitalists who make some fair points. Other topics of discussion include the strangers we spied on in a parking lot, the "bully" character being a comedic genius, Tony Stark's iconic fashion, and our self-made Marvel drinking game (which may or may not take place during the next episode).
