Another week, another hour (or so) of listening to two friends talk about things they don't know everything about. This is the first of likely many legal specials, considering it's our favorite topic to discuss! We start today talking about knowing your rights, especially the right against self-incrimination and search and seizure. Then we discuss the rest of the Bill of Rights and transition into capital punishment, which goes on for a little longer than we expected as we disagreed fairly heavily. Hello and welcome back to our (now) weekly episode of We're Not the Experts! This week we're looking inward and decided to choose fewer topics and discuss them in a bit more depth. We start off Episode 8 talking about Nintendo's prevalence in the gaming industry and the consoles they've released throughout the years. From there we discuss their somewhat walled garden, video games in and out of the Nintendo space, and then transition into ethical investing. Join us through the end where we hypothesize on serial killers in the US and a couple of noteworthy law tidbits. The long awaited religion episode! We don't talk about as many religions as we imagined, but we had to end it at some point and it still won as the longest-yet episode! We do however touch on different aspects of religion such as its prevalence in today's society, origins, and historical persecution. And in case you thought it couldn't be more controversial, we discuss the difference between a religion and a cult, and which camp Scientology falls in.
