Week 4: This Isn’t What You Thought

Palm branches waved.

But something was off.

In Week 4 of King. Cross. Crown., we step into the triumphal entry and discover that public praise doesn’t always mean true understanding. The crowd wanted a crown without a cross. They expected revolution. Jesus came to bring redemption.

While the city celebrated, the King wept.

This message confronts our expectations and asks a hard question: Are we praising Jesus for who He is — or for what we hope He’ll do? Because the road to the Crown still runs through the Cross.

Week 1: You’re Right… and Still Wrong

Peter got the answer right: “You are the Christ of God.”

But even with the right confession, he still misunderstood the kind of King Jesus came to be.
