How powerful do you feel today?
Do you have the power to get up? Power to accomplish the tasks before you?
How about the power to change? Any struggle with fear, anxiety, discouragement, lack of confidence, uncertainty?
The word power appears 118 times in the New Testament.
It is also used to describe the most important event to ever happen
Philippians 3:10, “that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death”
Not only was this power for Jesus to raise him from the dead but…
Ephesians 1:19, “and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might"
Greek word for power is dunamis. The power that raised Jesus is the same power that works in us!
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. John 15:1-5 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
