September 01, 2017 Ep. 2 - With UTEP Looming, OU Reveals a Depth Chart
Grant's opening take reveals his excitement for the Sooners CB position. Lee joins in to talk about OU's depth chart. Then the guys provide the most in depth preview of the UTEP game you can find.
3:45 OU reveals first depth chart
5:25 Kyler Murray named backup QB/Austin Kendall to redshirt
7:55 Breaking down all the "ors" at the running back position
8:55 Is CeeDee Lamb a future stud, or are the rest of the WRs just "meh"?
11:25 Ben Powers starts at LG, Cody Ford backups both OG positions
12:25 Mykel Jones's spot on the depth chart is concerning. Is Myles Tease good?
13:30 Obo is at the "JACK" position and that annoys Lee.
15:00 True Freshman Tre Norwood backing up Jordan Thomas is a surprise depth chart listing in the secondary.
16:45 Will Lincoln Riley go visor or something else in his debut as the Sooners head coach?
17:45 Do you believe Riley when he says the full playbook is available against UTEP?
19:30 Riley does not script plays going into the game and we are all for that strategy.
21:00 UTEP's defense may be slightly better than you think.
22:05 UTEP has big question marks on the defensive line -- but they're all huge dudes.
23:25 Grant brings up that UTEP's defense may actually be terrible.
24:20 UTEP has a simple, pro style, shot gun offense. Looks to be one dimensional.
25:50 UTEP's offensive line is a strength.
27:20 Which outcome would be most worrisome: OU winning 24-3 or OU winning 63-28?
29:30 What do you *want* to see Saturday against UTEP?
32:00 What *will* happen vs. UTEP?
33:35 Lee predicts the OU-UTEP score and yes he thinks the Sooners cover.
35:00 Diving into some quick thoughts on Ohio State's road win last night over Indiana.
36:20 Lee provides his true feelings on J.T. Barrett.
37:50 Lee watched the first half of OSU-Tulsa and he thinks the Pokes defense looked good, but Mason Rudolph left a little to be desired.
41:35 We take a look at a few Big 12 teams playing this weekend. Could Texas have a problem against a veteran Maryland team?
43:30 Grant provides some thoughts on West Virginia-Virginia Tech.
44:40 We give our picks for the weekend, and Lee hates on Mike MacIntyre seemingly for no reason.
Colorado-Colorado State
Michigan-Florida
Alabama-Florida State
Texas A&M-UCLA
West Virginia-Virginia Tech
