Romans 8:29 calls us as believers to be "conformed to the image of Jesus." This means that our entire Christian lives we are called to grow to look more like him so that we can be a light to the world. How do we grow in christlikeness?

Our first series of the year is a series about the importance and beauty of God's Church. Gen Z is more apathetic and disillusioned about the church than other generations.  And they will be the ones to lead the Church in the future, so it's imperative to help students look at the Church from all angles to fully understand its importance.  And it starts and ends with Jesus.

What is the difference between the worlds love and God's love? In 1 John we see a picture of what it is like to be loved by God. 

We kick off a new year of High School Ministry by talking about where we've come and what we want for students over the next school year.

As we finish the year at Reckless, we talk about why the Church exists.  As the next generation becomes less committed and trusting of the Church, we need to look at what it's purpose is.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Caleb talk with first-time podcast guests Stella and Sadie about prayer.   They talk through what prayer looks like for them, what barriers they sometimes face, and how prayer can play an important role in the lives of teenagers.  They also discuss Mother's Day plans and Todd mullets.  Or was it Mother's Day mullets and Todd plans?  🤷🏽‍♂️ 🤷🏽‍♀️

In our series, "Asking for a Friend", we are diving into tough topics ultimately to uncover the truth of God's word on these matters. 8th grader, Jackson Galet, sheds light on why we feel distant from God, and how it's never God that is distant, it's usually us!

In this week's Student Discussion, Avery and Caleb discuss Senior Night with two of our seniors, Ashley and Bella.  They discuss the importance of the Bible, how they have developed time with God over their high school years, and why we can have confidence in God's Word.  

This week at Reckless is Senior Night.  Our seniors led the service, including the message talking about why the Bible matters.

In this week's Student Discussion, Avery and Charlie talk with Ava and Madison about what they do when they feel disconnected from God, or when life gets busy.  They also discuss why they can feel like God is distant or silent and what to do about it.
