"And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By looking within ourselves: are we really trying to do what he wants us to?  Someone may say, “I am a Christian; I am on my way to heaven; I belong to Christ.” But if he doesn’t do what Christ tells him to, he is a liar."  1 John 2:3-4 (TLB)

Some religions teach that you must have "secret" knowledge.  Jesus makes it simple.

Maybe you need a breakthrough, maybe you need to be humbled, maybe there are things in your heart that need freed, or maybe 2019 will be the first time you have ever said God I am giving you my first 40 days to guide me through the rest of the year. I wonder how different your year and life would look?

We celebrate Christ's arrival as a baby and we all know the story -- but -- do you really know Jesus?

Mary was: humble, full of worship, obedient, a woman of the Word, and she was vulnerable.

“...Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name?..."  ...But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men..." Acts 5:28a, 29b (NKJV)

We think of powerful instruments, like the Ark of the Covenant, being powerful because God's Spririt resided there.  But you know -- God's Spirit resides in you!

God's favor may be in disguise.
