I am so glad you're here today to join us for week two of our series, "The Great High Priest". Something I’ve learned recently is that it seems we've been missing it for years by not understanding what it means that Jesus is our High Priest and how that should affect our lives everyday. Today we dive into the blessing of the New Covenant that Jesus brings and how it differs from the law of the Old Testament. Our prayers for today are for deepened perspectives and changed lives—thanks for coming!

I am so excited that you are here for the start of our Christmas Series. “Jesus is our Great High Priest.” How does that relate to the good news of His birth and how should it affect the way we live today? The birth of Jesus made a relationship with the Father possible, and that should change the way we live every day!

I’m so glad you’re with us today for Celebration Sunday. We will celebrate with the dedication of children to the Lord, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and then hear testimonies of how God has blessed lives and been so faithful throughout this year. It is such an honor to take time with you to say “Thank you” to the Lord for all that He has done. I hope you are encouraged today as we are reminded of all that our Heavenly Father has done for us, His children.

Wow, what a great time we've had studying the Holy Spirit for the last 6 months. But, I promise, the Holy Spirit is not done with us yet. Today, we get to look at what life looks like when lived daily in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. If He lives in us we should be changed forever. Let's learn to walk with Him together.

Welcome to Missions Sunday. I am so excited for you to see all the great things that God is doing throughout the world through His church. We will see videos and hear testimony from people who are involved in taking the Gospel to people "across the street and around the world"! I'm praying that God will show you where you can plug into missions here at West Rome.

Today we are looking at the last of the Spiritual Gifts: The Gift of Teaching. What does it look like when a person uses this gift? Why is it so important to the growth of the church? And, why is Jesus the best example of a Teacher that we know? Let's look at all of that together today.

When we talk about the Gifts of the Spirit, one of the gifts that brings the most interest is the Gift of Speaking in Tongues. Well, today we will look at this gift and see what God's Word actually says to be true. I hope we can all leave here today with a clear picture of the truth from Scripture, and a desire to know and learn more everyday. Thank you for being here!

As we continue in our series “The Spirit”, we learn that some of our gifts heavily affect the way we treat other people. We’re taught that we're all supposed to love and serve others but some of us are actually gifted in doing so. We'll look at three different gifts in this area today.
