Fé é uma palavra que significa "confiança", "crença", "credibilidade". A fé é um sentimento de total de crença em algo ou alguém, ainda que não haja nenhum tipo de evidência que comprove a veracidade da proposição em causa.

Ter fé implica uma atitude contrária à dúvida e está intimamente ligada à confiança. Em algumas situações, como problemas emocionais ou físicos, ter fé significa ter esperança de algo vai mudar de forma positiva, para melhor.

De acordo com a etimologia, a palavra fé tem origem no Grego "pistia" que indica a noção de acreditar e no Latim "fides", que remete para uma atitude de fidelidade.

No contexto religioso, a fé é uma virtude daqueles que aceitam como verdade absoluta os princípios difundidos por sua religião. Ter fé em Deus é acreditar na sua existência e na sua onisciência. A fé é também sinônimo de religião ou culto. Por exemplo, quando falamos da fé cristã ou da fé islâmica.
