It's been 10 years since the Arab spring, the revolutionary movement that swept through the middle east and brought down dictatorial governments in Egypt and Tunisia. For a brief time the masses were victorious, before being pushed back by the forces of counter revolution. As we enter a new period of uprisings and revolutions, we should look back on what lessons can be learned from the movements of the past.
