In this episode of Western Grace, I’m joined by Kirby and Dixie Berger, the husband-and-wife team behind Pure Dixie, for a conversation about faith, family, business, and learning to trust God one step at a time.
What began with two people combining their creative gifts on a Wyoming ranch eventually became Pure Dixie, a unique, family-centered business built around creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep desire to honor Christ. But the road there was anything but predictable. From leaving the security of the family ranch, to Dixie’s battle with cancer, to launching their business during one of the most uncertain seasons in recent history, Kirby and Dixie learned that God rarely reveals the entire path at once. He simply asks us to take the next step.
We talk about what it means to make decisions through prayer, to surrender our own plans and timelines, to recognize the gifts God has given our spouse, and to keep family and faith at the center of business. Dixie also shares a powerful story of a woman who gave her life to Christ while visiting their booth—an experience that changed the way she understood success forever.
Their story is a beautiful reminder that success isn't always measured by numbers, sales, or the size of a business. Sometimes success is simply being obedient, staying faithful, and allowing God to use what you've been given for His glory.
If you're standing at a crossroads, wondering what God is asking you to do next, I hope this conversation reminds you that you don't have to know the whole plan.
You just have to take the next step.
Step by step.
