In Genesis 2 we read that God planted a garden. And this garden had two specific trees that would be of huge significance.

As the creation week comes to a close, God does something significant. He rests. It's not because He is tired, but rather He was establishing a principle that He wanted His creation to follow.

God created man a little different then the rest of creation. The most significant difference is that He put within us His Image... but what does that mean?

Everyone can look in awe of creation... whether in the mountains, oceans, or life. But not everyone sees the same things. Some think that God is no longer needed to explain things, and others see God's handiwork everywhere. What message does creation give us today?

Genesis 1 is less concerned about when, and more concerned about who and why. This is part of the reason we see the repeated phrase "it is good".

The first verse of the Bible is packed with theological significance. In this one short verse, we can learn so much about our origin and the Creator.

We have been given everything we need in order to go and do as God desires. So no matter where we go, or what we do, we can honor God.
