The playoffs are long gone and MSI is fast approaching. But because of COVID, our host was stuck in the shadow realm and couldn't really cover them. SO it's time for a trip down memory lane to see how G2 esports and Evil Geniuses managed to book their tickets to Busan. Also, roster moves have begun for the teams left at home. Let's look at what has happened so far. Has Cloud 9 made any moves? How big will TSM's rebuild be? What of Mad Lions? Answers to these questions can be found on this week's episode of the WRP

The LCS playoffs begin this weekend and with the seeding having being settled with tiebreakers and there being some surprising upsets throughout super week, there is a chance the playoff matchup could be closer than expected. The winners brackets sees Cloud 9 face 100 Thieves and Team Liquid take on Evil Geniuses, with Golden Guardians and Flyquest awaiting the losers of each match.
Over in the LEC, the playoffs are firmly underway, with Rogue, Fnatic, and Vitality all picking up wins, sending Misfits and G2 to the lower bracket and sending Excel home. Now there is a clash of the titans in the Upper Bracket Final and the lower has a bunch of good teams looking to move themselves forward.
All that is up for discussion on this weeks episode of the WRP

The Peter Zhang situation continues to unfold and we now have more information on the allegations thanks to a Dexerto article written by Richard Lewis (article: Sources: TSM League coach Peter Zhang fired for alleged financial irregularities - Dexerto). Allegations from TSM towards Peter Zhang claim he used his position for self-enrichment. On Wednesday, Peter Zhang put out a twitlonger providing his side of the story (twitlonger summarized here: Peter Zhang responds to departure from TSM: 'I want to take responsibility for my mistakes' - Dot Esports). This leaves the situation in a very he said, she said state and leaves all wondering where it will go from here. Moving onto the Rift and the fight for the final playoff spots will conclude this weekend with Super Week. Four teams fight for three spots and strength of schedule maybe the biggest determining factor.

A 3 week break from the regular season to the playoffs gives teams time to formulate strategies and fine tune their drafts. This sets up the beginning of the LEC playoffs to be a banger. Rogue face Misfits, Excel take on Vitality but the matchup that no one can wait for is El Clasico. G2 vs Fnatic. Round 1 of the Upper Bracket.
Meanwhile with 2 weeks remaining in the LCS regular season, the battle for playoffs continues to get tighter...for everyone but Cloud 9 and Team Liquid, who are so far ahead of everyone else, you can't even see their brake lights.
All of that gets discussed as well as the impending drama surrounding TSM and Peter Zhang on this weeks episode of the WRP

The LCS' mid split super week to close out the first round robin of the Spring Split gave us a glimpse at to who are the contenders and who are the pretenders. Team Liquid and Cloud 9 proved their strength is legit while Flyquest showed that there were a flash in the pan. Meanwhile in Europe, the race for playoffs got a bit closer to the finish with Astralis and BDS being knocked out heading into the final week. Which is a super week of its own. Plus I give my thoughts on the continuously declining LCS viewership numbers. All that on this weeks episode of the WRP
