Psalm 8 is totally addressed to the Lord (making it a prayer as well as a song), and David's thoughts are directed specifically to the Creator.  This is the first of several programs on Psalm 8, a prayer addressed to the Creator.

Job is speaking to the One who formed him from the dust of the ground.  In his lament we can see that he was aware of what is recorded in Genesis 2:7.

In this special and entertaining program, "Grandpa" Scripture interviews his grandson, James Scripture about school, birds, donuts and "why the birds are afraid of us."

Dr. Scripture continues the interview with his son, Lt. Benjamin "Luke" Scripture, a navy helicopter pilot. Luke explains the dynamics involved in sensory deprived perception and his "experiences" with UFOs. Are they alien in origin? What does that mean for our understanding of Scripture?

A listener asks about the existence of UFOs, prompted by a new "History Channel" TV program titled Unidentified.  Most of the witnesses to the UFOs reported in the show were Navy pilots, so Dr. Scripture thought it would be appropriate to interview a Navy helicopter pilot on the program.  The pilot is Lt. Benjamin "Luke" Scripture--Dr. Scripture's son.

Dr. Scripture is often asked how old he thinks the earth is.  In this program he discusses the issues that effect his opinion about the age of the earth; the function of the biblical genealogies being a main factor.

One listener asks, "How many daughters did Adam and Eve have, and was incest permitted in those days?" Another listener asks, "when does a person receive their spiritual body?"

This may not technically be a prayer, however, Job is talking about what HE WOULD say to God--which may as well be a prayer, after all God heard it!  In this "prayer" Job begins to say things about God he will later regret.

In Nehemiah chapter 9 a long prayer of repentance is led by several Levites on behalf of the Israelites who had returned from Babylon.  This prayer is initially addressed to the One who "made the heavens."
