A follower of Jesus goes out! A disciple of Jesus thinks like a missionary in everyday life, going with a simple message while keeping compassion central.

Following Jesus means committing to this call to be "fishers of people." To follow is to fish! We will consider the calling of Jesus' first disciples and how this call compels us today to develop similar "fishing" strategies.

Are you a true worshiper? Are you overwhelmed in the presence of God? How does your life show you worship? God's Word challenges us to consider what it means to be the "true worshipers" that God seeks.

What is the one thing God desires that only you can give? Worship! Worship challenges our values and begs us to ask: “Who is God and what has he done?”

Unforgiveness keeps us in bondage. But, we can overcome...we can be free. But, we must learn to forgive. Only when we forgive do we allow God to come and begin healing our hearts of woundedness. You can forgive yourself and others.

The lie of shame tells us: "I am what I am and cannot change. I am hopeless." God says, "You haven't failed too much and you are worth being loved!" God wipes away our past and makes us brand new. We don't have to escape. We can be FREE from shame.

The fear of punishment causes one to blame either self, others or God. Blame can make us feel unworthy of love, deserving punishment and condemnation. Yet, God can set us free through the death of Jesus. His cross took all of our punishment on himself. God's wrath for hostility and sin has been forever satisfied in Jesus.

The Approval Addict deals with a wrong view of others and a fear of rejection. Our sense of self-worth can become skewed if we rely on other's approval. But, Jesus' death reconciled us back to God! This can set us free.

The Performance Trap ensnares us when we think we have to meet certain standards to feel good about ourselves. We don't have to perform for others, including God. God has justified us through Jesus Christ.

As we fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus, we must be BOLD. As we spend time with Jesus, we will give our whole lives to him and become unstoppable!
