What does it take to find a perfect God guilty? Most are familiar with the scene of Jesus and Pilate, but what is John specifically trying to convey to his readers? This is a "Bible Study" through John 18:12-40. [John 18:12-40; Matthew 27:21-26]

John includes and excludes key informations about Jesus' arrest to convey the meaning behind the event. God loves us so much that He is willing to put aside His divinity for the sake of bringing hope into the world! [John 18:1-14]

The disciples were impressed by Jesus’ prayer. In John 17, we have recorded for us an example of Jesus’ prayer that prompted the disciples to ask Him to teach them to pray. The most recited prayer in the world is the Lord's Prayer (found in Matthew 6:9-13 and in Luke 11:2-4). It is agreed amonst most Christians that this is the most important prayer in the Bible. How difficult is it to connect with God? After all, prayer is just talking to God... right? The problem is, we have made prayer into something more than just talking.
